The Battal Group was established in 1954 by Mr. Orhan Battal under his own name having started its activity as a auto centre and spare parts dealer, the Battal family was soon enrolled in the maritime business and developed its activity during the 70s in Turkish straits and major Turkish ports as a ship agent.
This steady, continuous growth has led us to expand into a global business with an emphasis on logistics, international trade and supply chain management. During this long history Battal Group is engaged in a wide range of businesses globally, mainly maritime, logistics and trading. Today, our global marketing office based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands and our operational headquarters based in Istanbul, Türkiye where the continents meet, enabling us to be bridge between the East and the West.
